A Colorado Wedding Film – Celebrating Love Amidst Colorado’s Contrasting Beauty in Downtown Denver and Littleton

Their Ollantay Films Love Story

For Steph and Gus, planning their wedding meant weaving together the best of both worlds – an amalgamation of Colorado’s vibrant urban scene and its picturesque natural landscapes. They envisioned their day to begin amidst the pulse of downtown Denver, at the iconic Rally Hotel, before venturing into the serene beauty of Littleton, CO, specifically the stunning Arrowhead Golf Course, for their wedding.

They stumbled upon me after scouring the web for cinematic wedding videographers. Upon our connection, I suggested the talented Rachel J Photo to complement our creative team as the photographer. With their hearts set on showcasing Colorado’s contrasting sides, it was a day of traversing through the state’s diverse landscapes, capturing every moment in a cinematic narrative.

Their “Everything Bagel” Colorado Wedding

Rachel and I embarked on an exhilarating 10-hour wedding day adventure, kicking off the festivities with Gus and his groomsmen at the Maven hotel. Amidst their preparations, they indulged in a college football game while we meticulously captured intricate details, marking the beginning of an eventful day.

Transitioning swiftly, we made a stop at the Rally Hotel, where the girls were getting ready. We took quick pause for a fun TikTok video, had a celebratory pop of champagne, and made a lively “rally” down the stairs. (see what I did there 😉 ) to hop in our cars, and steer towards the enchanting Arrowhead golf course.

The picturesque landscapes of Arrowhead greeted us as both Steph and Gus connected with their respective bridal parties. It was a time for candid moments and cherished memories before the ceremony. Steph chose to share heartfelt moments with her dad and brother in an intimate first look, expressing gratitude with thoughtful gifts for their support throughout the day’s setup.

The ceremony unfolded against the stunning backdrop of the Flat Irons as Gus saw Steph for the very first time in her wedding dress. They exchanged their heartfelt vows, sealing their promises with the much anticipated first kiss. And voilà! Mr. and Mrs. Horner made their world-wide debut.

While guests enjoyed the golf course’s offerings, hitting golf balls on the driving range, Rachel and I whisked Steph and Gus away on a Golf Cart adventure around Arrowhead. Amidst the sprawling beauty, we filmed and photographed the newlyweds, asking them to just be in the moment with each other.

Returning, the toasts were given, and my personal highlight of the evening was witnessing Steph’s close friend, the multi-talented Country Music Singer, Songwriter, and Actress Grace Leer, debut an original song crafted exclusively for the newlyweds. It was an emotional crescendo that encapsulated the depth of friendship and love shared between them.
