Diana and Dakota’s love story began in the digital realm, on Hinge. Dakota had accidentally used his “super like” on someone else earlier that same week, and when he came across Diana he wished he hadn’t. Luckily Diana matched with Dakota a few days later. As their bond deepened, their shared Christian faith became a cornerstone of their relationship, supported by families rooted in similar religious beliefs. Their journey from dating to engagement to marriage in under a year echoed the sentiment, “when you know, you know.”
They found Ollantay films through a mutual friend, whose wedding I had filmed a year prior. Diana and Dakota loved the cinematic storytelling in their friend’s film, and they knew they wanted a similar touch for their own wedding.

The wedding day unfolded against the sleek backdrop of The Manor House, offering various cinematic corners to weave their story. Despite the rain, Diana and Dakota’s ceremony would continue inside the venue. Their spirits braved the cold outdoors with myself and the incredibly talented Austin Liberato of Liberato Photography, as we captured breathtaking candid moments—a testament to their unwavering love.
Returning indoors, heartfelt toasts were shared. Diana’s parents, who are of Russian descent, imparted their blessings, reminding the couple to love fiercely, and hold on to that which brought their hearts together. As they finished their toasts, a Russian chant to get the couple to kiss, surrounded the hall as dancing began — a night resonating with a fusion of cultures and beats as they danced away to pop music and vibrant Russian EDM.
